At the Hotel ホテルで

I would like to check in please.
すみません チェクインを おねがいします。
SUMIMASEN CHEKKU IN WO ONEGAISHIMASU
日本語
"I would like to"=何々をしたい。英語はしたい事を後に来ます。
English
SUMIMASEN=Excuse me,
CHEKKU IN= Check in.  It is pretty much the same as it is in English.  The Japanese use many English words in their vocabulary.  The only difference is the pronunciation.  It would be pronounced the way that it is written in Katagana.(a Japanese alphabet or way of writing that is usually used for foreign sounding words.  HIRAGANA is used for Japanese words.

May I have your name sir/mam?

お名前をお願いします。

ONAMAE WO ONEGAISHIMASU.
日本語
sir/mam は名前を分らない方の正よびかた。sirは男の人 mamは女の人につかいます。

English
NAMAE= name. In Japanese when asking for someone's name , age, etc. you would add the prefix "O" in front of the word.  When stating your own name, age etc. you would not use the "O" before the word.
